A fresh start for a well-loved public broadcaster
Radio New Zealand, 2016In 2015 RNZ was undergoing a big shift from purely live-to-air radio towards a much wider journalism mix, particularly written news and some live video. Embedded within their team, I led the creation of a brand new editorial design direction, a layout system that could flex with the ebb and flow of news, and explored new ways to meet ever changing technologies and audience behaviours.
